Can I double dip in the prize money categories?
Yes, double dipping is permitted, but if you win prize money then you will not get an age group award.
Will age group awards be presented?
Age group awards will be awarded to the top three runners in the following age group categories for the Atlanta Marathon – 18-19, 20-24, 25-29, 30-34, 35-39, 40-44, 45-49, 50-54, 55-59, 60-65, 65-69, 70-74, 75+. Age group awards are based on net time (chip time). Awards will be mailed to the top three in each age division.
Will I receive a medal for finishing the race?
Yes, all Atlanta Marathon finishers will receive a commemorative medal for their accomplishment. Marathon finishers will also receive a commemorative pint glass and Nike performance shirt.
Will I receive a finisher certificate?
Finisher certificates for the Atlanta Marathon with official and net times will be available online at atlantamarathon.org by the evening of October 28. Certificates can be printed out as a keepsake.
