Conquer Your Marathon Dream With Us!
The Atlanta Marathon Training Program is a 22-week program beginning in May at Emory University- Briarcliff that prepares participants for the Atlanta Marathon on October 28, 2012. The program, designed for novice and intermediate runners, will help you conquer the 26.2 mile urban course and achieve your marathon goal!
Training program participants meet every Saturday at 7:30 a.m.
The Atlanta Marathon Training Program features:
- Entry into the Atlanta Marathon
- 22 weekend group long runs (including two races and a 23 mile run on the course)
- Detailed written training schedule
- Short-sleeve training team performance shirt
- Four educational seminars specifically for marathoners
- Kick-off party to meet the coaches
